There are also benefits for baby too - cumin helps to increase the quality of breastmilk, and in doing this, aids positive digestion for baby in the early weeks.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
1-2 tbs of cumin seeds (from the supermarket or Indian supermarkets)
1.5-2 litres of water
METHOD
1. Place the seeds and water in a saucepan and bring to boil for 1-2 minutes.
2. Strain and sip throughout the day.
3. Continue to make a fresh batch of this tonic daily and take for up to a month or until symptoms clear.
