CINNAMON TEA FOR CIRCULATION

Cinnamon has such powerful healing benefits for increasing and stabilising a poor circulatory system. Cinnamon aids to positively push the circulation out to the peripherals of the body and the joints. If you suffer from cold extremities, Raynauds Syndrome, arthritis or poor circulation due to cardiac insufficiency, this tea will be a support alongside your treatment plan and guidance of your Ayurvedic or chosen health care professional. Please have no more than 1-2 cups daily of this tea and ensure not to take it in the case of high Pitta - infection, fever, inflammation, excess heat and hyper acidity.



WHAT YOU WILL NEED


1 serve

  • 1 1/2 cups water

  • 1 large piece cinnamon bark

  • 1 slice of fresh ginger

  • 1 cardamom pod

  • A small pinch black pepper

  • 1/2 or 1 tsp of jaggery (unrefined cane sugar)



METHOD


  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to a rapid simmer for 1-2 minutes.

  2. Strain, allow to cool slightly and sip immediately.
