AYURVEDIC CURRY LEAF HAIR TONIC
Updated: Feb 2
Curry leaves hold a variety of healing qualities, working across many systems in the body - including benefits for hair and skin. Below is a super simple, very effective and wonderful tonic for hair that is needing a little extra support. Regular application of this oil to the scalp helps to reduce the greying cycle, promotes healthy hair growth, strengthens and nourishes dry, brittle locks and alleviates dandruff.
HAIR TONIC RECIPE
Take 20 gram of fresh curry leaves and make a fine paste.
Soak the paste in 100 ml of coconut oil (or sesame oil) overnight.
The following day, add the soaked paste to an equal quantity of water and cook on a low temperature until the water has evaporated. This makes around 80-90ml of hair tonic.
Strain well and store in a sterilised jar.
Light and love,
