Well, it is truly that time of year. Colds, flu, sluggish tummies, fevers, runny noses and coughs.
Lots of coughs.
Using simple culinary herbs you can easily make your own, highly effective, no side effect and all natural cough remedy. It is so simple to make and appropriate for adults and kids alike.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Equal quantities of
Black pepper powder
Mix well together in a small bowl. I usually make a decent batch for the season and keep in a dry, clean jar. 50 grams of each herb usually works a treat.
For a dry, raspy, irritating cough with no mucous production - Take 1 teaspoon of the powder mix and combine with some melted butter to make a thick paste. Take a tip of a teaspoon of the paste every 30-60 minutes until cough clears.
For a chesty, gurgling cough with mucous production - Take 1 teaspoon of the powder mix and combine with some raw honey to make a thick paste. Take a tip of a teaspoon of the paste every 30-60 minutes until cough clears.
