This tea is a quick little wonder -brew for an upset digestion of a Vata or Kapha nature. Whether you are experiencing bloating, colic, gas, heaviness, nausea or cramps to a mild or moderate level, this simple 10 minute remedy will soothe and restore digestive balance.

Intake of poor food combinations,
Excessive intake of cold, raw foods and,
Recovery from illness that has disturbed the gut flora (i.e. gastro or food poisoning).
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
2 cups of filtered water
4 cardamom pods (green or black)
1 tsp of fennel seeds
1 whole clove
Optional - 1 teaspoon of jaggery (unrefined cane sugar)
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil for approximately 5 minutes.
Strain and serve immediately.
