This is an effective Ayurvedically inspired roll-on oil blend recipe to support clearing the chest and sinuses of mucous, lessening wheezing and tightness from croup or asthma and aids to calm the excessive Vata movement of a chesty cough. Cardamom essential oil is recommended to only be used on children over five and be cautious not to use this roll-on blend while your child is experiencing a fever or is at the height of fighting off an infection.

  • 1 x 10ml glass roller bottle

  • 1 drop of Cardamom essential oil

  • 1 drop of Clove essential oil

  • 1 drop of Cinnamon essential oil

  • 1 drop of Frankincense essential oil

  • Sesame oil or if an aggravation to this is known, use Jojoba oil

  1. In the roller bottle, add the essential oils.

  2. Fill the rest of the bottle with the sesame or jojoba oil.

  3. Apply to the chest of your child over various point of the chest, directly over the lung spaces. Gently apply in a clockwise direction and re-apply as required. Immediately cease use if the skin becomes irritated and be in contact with us here to request further support and guidance in creating the optimum blend for your child.
