OJAS RESTORATIVE - A DRINK FOR NOURISHMENT

Updated: Aug 13, 2023

Ojas in Ayurveda, means vitality. Ojas is indicated in a person through a noticeable glow coming from within radiating positivity, warmth, connection, generosity of spirit and compassionate state of existence. From the external body, an Ojas abundant individual will have bright eyes, luscious hair, glowing skin, good muscle tone and plenty of energy. An indication of healthy Ojas flow and maintenance is indicated in a strong immune system, steady ageing and a long, healthy life.

FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO OJAS DEPLETION

  • Chronic exposure to stress

  • Change of season

  • Illness

  • Injury

  • Pregnancy, Birth and Early Stages of Parenting

  • Trauma

  • Chronic use of pharmaceutical medications and treatments (i.e. Chemo and Radio Therapy)

  • Hormonal changes and fertility

  • Sexual activity

This beautiful, nourishing tonic can be taken daily both during a time of depletion or as an aid in recovery. It is very beneficial to keep Ojas strong in the body during seasonal change and post-sexual activity - particularly if you are trying to conceive.
