Our vision sources from our gratitude; that no matter how challenging life gets, we are blessed with love and our needs are met in abundance.

From our gratitude and combined skill set to be of service to others, the members of Love and Light are deeply committed to providing our communities with resources, health care and education for abundance to be shared by all.

The below confronting facts draw our attention on daily basis, cultivating our desire to provide support for our fellow human being in our local and global communities:

  • 40% of the world’s population living in extreme poverty, 3.1 million children dying of hunger each year, whilst one third of the food produced in the world for human consumption, approximately 1.3 billion tonnes is wasted.

  • People living in war zones; about 30 percent of children in Africa and 40 percent in the Middle East are living in conflict zones today, while Asia has the highest number of children in conflict zones, 195 million.

  • Child abuse, neglect and exploitation; in 2017, the WHO estimated that up to 1 billion children between the ages of 2 and 17 have endured violence either physical, emotional, or sexual. Sexual abuse (from groping to rape), according to some UNICEF estimates from 2014, affected over 120 million children, representing the highest number of victims.

  • Families living with domestic violence; a survey of domestic violence data in Australia reveals an average of 1 woman a week being murdered as a result of domestic violence, 1 in 3 to experience physical violence, 1 in 5 to experienced sexual violence.

Love & Light Foundation aims to achieve goals by building a diverse network, in collaboration with other community support organisations, to provide aid and resources where it’s most needed in the form of:

  • Fresh food, grocery vouchers, clothing and school supplies.

  • Free workshops that educate and empower people to improve their circumstances and long term health and well-being through ongoing education opportunities with our dedicated team of health and education professionals.

  • Long term holistic health care solutions, in the form of dietary and lifestyle strategies, including access to an ayurvedic natural healthcare facility - The Sattva Centre. Our qualified practitioners tailor treatments, therapies, and tools to benefit families and individuals with their physical and mental needs.

The critical elements of this assistance are:

  • Love & Light Foundation is a non for profit organisation and 100% of collected donations are used to support our mission - no administrative costs or salaries are deducted. We work directly with communities (in Australia or wherever our journey takes us) and pay no middle man for services.

  • The aid is ongoing - allowing families/ individuals to get back on their feet.

  • We are only driven by the desire to help wherever help is required - there are no religious or other connections.

  • · The identity of the families are kept private, however ongoing communication will inform us about their wellbeing.

Love & Light Foundation collaborates with the following organisations:

  • Love, Hope & Gratitude Foundation - a non for profit organisation created out of need and a passion by its inspiring founder, Glyn Scott, who wanted to see a better life and future for those affected by domestic violence, child sexual abuse and homelessness.

  • Hills Southern Fleurieu & Kangaroo Island Community Health - The Mental Health Team provides quality, community-based health services across Adelaide Hills, Kangaroo Island and Southern Fleurieu areas of South Australia.

  • Treasure Boxes - This South Australian charity offers life essentials (bedding, clothes, toys etc.) to families struggling to provide for their children as a result of poverty, homelessness and domestic violence.
